The new SBS building has been submitted for the African Real Estate and Housing Finance (AREHF) Academy awards. The awards are meant to appreciate those who have put in reasonable and measurable efforts in boosting the real estate and housing finance market in the African region. It is also an opportunity to recognize and showcase these same people/organizations.

About the SBS Green Building
The new green campus, the first green Business School in Africa valued at KShs 265 millionis adjacent to the students centre and will increase the capacity of its participants to 800 executives. The building incorporates ultra-modern facilities.
The auditoriumhas a seating capacity of 180 people inclusive of all the requisite conferencing facilities such as a huge screen with the visual material presented via any of the three ceiling mounted projectors. The stage seats up to 10 people, raised just enough to ensure visibility from the main seating area. The main seating area has three tier seating each accessed through a middle aisle and side.
The innovative design embraces the green building technology guidelines and seeks to achieve the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification which is a ‘Green Building’ Rating System used in the USA.
