Owner Manager Program class of 2012 participants, were introduced to the unique program tailored for entrepreneurs on Wednesday 8th February during the orientation session where they had a first-hand experience of the program. Because entrepreneurship contributes to a significant portion of the East African region’s economy, the Owner Manager Program participants will learn to harness their talent and will gain from best-practice knowledge from a well chosen pool of faculty, industry experts and practical experience. They will also learn from each other through the personal experiences garnered from running their own businesses in a session entitled ‘My Story’.

The first module of the program will run from the 13th – 16th March 2012 at Strathmore Business School (SBS). The program has a total of four modules to be held at SBS with the exception of the third module which will be held at the Lagos Business School in Nigeria. The Owner Manager Program will focus on key areas such as Understanding the Business Landscape, Getting ready for what Lies Ahead, Improving Business Performance and Transforming Business Leaders.
