The Strathmore Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness has four distinct strategic goals including;

To this end Strathmore Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness (SISC) is a research driven institution with regional aspirations and global agenda. SBS is affiliated to Harvard Business School's Institute for Strategy & Competitiveness, founded by Prof. Michael E. Porter. Prof. Porter is the Honorary Chair of SBS's Insitute for Strategy & Competitiveness.
