Strathmore University , a dynamic young university based in Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa, celebrates its golden jubilee in 2012 It is a corporate undertaking of the OPUS DEI Prelature. The university has played a significant role in the economic development of Kenya and the wider territory of East Africa and is planning on expanding this role through the creation of further postgraduate programmes. Strathmore Business School (SBS) was initiated in 2007 and provides an executive MBA Programme (2 years) and other post graduate courses, particularly in Business Ethics and Strategy.

The goal is to offer a structured doctoral programme commencing in 2012. These plans are being matched by the construction of significant new facilities to be inaugurated later this year. At this time the university seeks expressions of interest from doctoral (DBA/PhD) candidates or those nearing completion for, initially two year appointments reflected in the following areas:Strategic Management, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources, Operations Management, Project Management.
